Ross

I believe the answer is:

revel

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'party' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'the right woman left' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'right' could be 'r' (common abbreviation) and 'r' is found within the answer.
'woman' could be 'eve' (Eve is an example) and 'eve' is found in the answer.
'left' could be 'l' (common abbreviation) and 'l' is found in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'the' is the link.

(Other definitions for revel that I've seen before include "Take great pleasure" , "Feast riotously" , "Riotous feast" , "Spree" , "Make merry; luxuriate (in)" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
