The title is The Way to Go (7)
I believe the answer is:
heading
'the title' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'the way to go' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'way' could be 'n' (Compass direction - North) and 'n' is found in the answer.
'go' could be 'head' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'head' is located in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'is' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for heading that I've seen before include "Hide nag (anag.)" , "Caption - direction" , "Bearing, direction" , "Line of text at the top of an article" , "Aiming - title" .)
