Ross

I believe the answer is:

route

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'this way possibly' is the definition.
(way is a kind of route)

'true love comes into it' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'love' could be 'o' (love means zero in tennis) and 'o' is located in the answer.
an anagram of 'true' is 'rute' which is present in the remaining letters.
No letters remain.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for route that I've seen before include "Way, course" , "Itinerary; way" , "Established line of trave" , "Direction of travel" , "' - - 66', Nat Cole song" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
