I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'time of revolution' is the definition.
(as in the 1917 October Revolution in Russia)

'time of' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'time' could be 't' (abbreviation) and 't' is found in the answer.
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is found within the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for october that I've seen before include "Eighth month on the Roman calendar, originally" , "Revolutionary period" , "21st = Trafalgar Day" , "thirty-one days" , "Time for revolution" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
