I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

This clue could be a double definition.

'to fine' is the first definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their base form, I cannot understand how one could define the other.

'leg?' is the second definition.
The answer and definition can be both acts as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps you can see an association between them that I don't see?

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for glance that I've seen before include "Glimpse" , "Take a brief or hurried look" , "A dart of the eye" , "Flash" , "Batsman's stroke" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
