To me, a little house (4)
I believe the answer is:
home
'house' is the definition.
(I know that home is a more specific form of house)
'to me a little' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'me' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ho' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for home that I've seen before include "In; institution" , "Habitual abode" , "dwelling house" , "Place of dwelling" , "chez nous?" .)
