Crossword Genius

Toilets occupied by Sale's wingers and prop (5,4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

loose head

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'prop' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'toilets occupied by sale's wingers' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'toilets' could be 'loos' (loo means a toilet) and 'loos' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'and' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for loose head that I've seen before include "Prop needed" , "Wobbly top?" , "He plays rugby" , "nut that needs tightening?" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
