Took the advice of Prospero about a shed? (4-2)
I believe the answer is:
lean-to
'a shed?' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'took the advice of prospero about' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'the' could be 't' (the is pronounced as a 't' sound in some dialects) and 't' is located in the answer.
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is located in the answer.
'about' could be 'a' (abbreviation in Chambers) and 'a' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'len' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for lean-to that I've seen before include "Add-on building" , "It's roof slants against a wall" , "Structure whose roof has only one slope" , "Building with roof resting against larger building (4, 2)" , "Shed, outbuilding" .)
