'nirvana' can be an answer for 'bliss' (blissful state in Buddhism). I am unsure of the 'total' bit.
'within hidden message reveal odds' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'message' could be 'an' (AN is an example) and 'an' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
