Travelling in France? (2,5)
I believe the answer is:
en route
'travelling' is the definition.
('en route' means on the way)
'in france?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'in france?' could be 'en' ('in' in French) and 'en' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'route' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for en route that I've seen before include "Along the way" , "In transit (French)" , "'On the way (2,5)'" , "on the road" , "While travelling" .)
