Trivial direction found in scriptural work (3-3)
I believe the answer is:
two-bit
'trivial' is the definition.
Both the definition and answer are adjectives.
Perhaps they are linked in a way I don't understand?
'direction found in scriptural work' is the wordplay.
'direction' becomes 'W' (W is an example).
'found in' is an insertion indicator.
'scriptural work' becomes 'tobit' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'w' placed into 'tobit' is 'TWO-BIT'.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for two-bit that I've seen before include "Cheap (US colloq.)" , "Paltry" , "Inferior - cheap" , "Cheap - insignificant" , "Cheap, worthless (US)" .)
