Turn utensil into a whistle, say (4,10)
I believe the answer is:
wind instrument
'a whistle say' is the definition.
(whistle is a kind of wind instrument)
'turn utensil into' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'turn' could be 'wind' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'wind' is located in the answer.
'into' could be 'in' and 'in' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for wind instrument that I've seen before include "tool used by meteorologist" , "oboe, say" , "flute, perhaps" , "thing to have in orchestra" , "Serpent for instance" .)
