Two places to find water in Turkey, perhaps (4,6)
I believe the answer is:
main course
'two' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't understand how one could define the other.
'places to find water in turkey perhaps' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'water' could be 'main' (main is a kind of water) and 'main' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'course' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for main course that I've seen before include "A lot to take in" , "substantial part of meal" , "Substantial dish" , "Series of sailing lessons" , "Marine biology, perhaps" .)
