Unfriendly and loopy terms of service accepted by cook (6)
I believe the answer is:
frosty
'unfriendly' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'service accepted by cook' is the wordplay.
'service' becomes 'ost' (I can't explain this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'accepted by' indicates putting letters inside.
'cook' becomes 'fry cook' (frying is a kind of cooking).
'ost' inserted within 'fry' is 'FROSTY'.
'and loopy terms of' is the link.
I am not very happy about this link. Some or all of it may belong to another bit of the clue.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for frosty that I've seen before include "Cold and unfriendly (glance or reception?)" , "Lacking in warmth" , "Chilly in attitude, like musical snowman" , "showing little enthusiasm" , "Icy cold" .)
