Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their -s form, I can't see how they can define each other.

'unleash plenty' is the wordplay.
'unleash' becomes 'free' (I've seen this in another clue).
'plenty' becomes 'loads' (I've seen this before).
'free'+'loads'='FREELOADS'

'of' acts as a link.
