Very much like Britain? (7)
I believe the answer is:
greatly
'very much' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'like britain?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'like' could be 'ly' (similar in meaning) and 'ly' is located in the answer.
'britain?' could be 'great' (synonyms) and 'great' is found in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for greatly that I've seen before include "to a considerable extent" , "To a large extent" , "Very much" .)
