Wash right, in a way (5)
I believe the answer is:
rinse
'wash' is the definition.
(I know that wash can be written as rinse)
'right in a way' is the wordplay.
'right' becomes 'r' (common abbreviation).
'in a way' becomes 'inse' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'r'+'inse'='RINSE'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for rinse that I've seen before include "Use water to remove soap" , "Colour" , "Wash in clean water" , "Remove soap with clean water" , "Run water through" .)
