What gossips do, it's rumoured?
I believe the answer is:
hearsay
'rumoured?' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'what gossips do it's' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'it' could be 'sa' (old-fashioned abbreviation for sex appeal) and 'sa' is located in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for hearsay that I've seen before include "Testimony not based on direct knowledge" , "Gossip passed around by word of mouth" , "Rumour or gossip - inadmissible as evidence" , "Based on report given by others" , "speculation" .)
