What plane did on tarmac, one coming in loaded
I believe the answer is:
taxied
'loaded' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are past participle verbs, I don't see how one could define the other.
I can't explain the remainder of the clue.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for taxied that I've seen before include "Of aircraft, moved slowly on ground" , "Travelled slowly, as an aircraft on a runway" , "prepared to take off" , "Travelled slowly, as a plane on the runway" , "didn't use the bus!" .)
