I believe the answer is:

Both the answer and definition are adverbs.
Maybe there's an association between them I don't understand?

I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'unmarried' could be 'single' (similar in meaning) and 'single' is located in the answer.
'one' could be 'i' (Roman numeral) and 'i' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
