Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how one could define the other.
'about how to recycle paper?' is the wordplay.
'about' says the letters should be written backwards.
'how' becomes 'ti' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'to' says to put letters next to each other (I've seen this in other clues).
'recycle paper?' becomes 'pulp' (I've seen this before).
'ti' reversed gives 'it'.
'it' after 'pulp' is 'PULPIT'.
