With anticipation, warning, you see (9)
I believe the answer is:
foresight
'with anticipation' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I don't understand how one could define the other.
'warning you see' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'warning' could be 'fore' (shouted in golf) and 'fore' is found in the answer.
'see' could be 'sight' (I've seen this before) and 'sight' is found in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for foresight that I've seen before include "Caution" , "Ability to anticipate" , "Vision" , "Clairvoyance" , "Anticipation" .)
