With scorn, possibly said to be in a racket (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

disdain

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'with scorn' is the definition.
'disdain' can be an answer for 'scorn' ('disdain' can be a synonym of 'scorn'). I am not certain of the 'with' bit.

'said to be in a racket' is the wordplay.
'to be' indicates anagramming the letters.
'in' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'a racket' becomes 'din' (I've seen this before).
'said' with letters rearranged gives 'isda'.
'isda' going within 'din' is 'DISDAIN'.

'possibly' is the link.

(Other definitions for disdain that I've seen before include "Show scorn" , "cold shoulder" , "'Contempt, condescension (7)'" , "Look down on" , "Scorn - feeling of superiority" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
