Worker taking lead wrapped in cape (8)
I believe the answer is:
headland
'cape' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'worker taking lead wrapped' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'lead' is 'eadl' which is located in the answer.
'worker' could be 'hand' (hand is a kind of worker) and 'hand' is found in the leftover letters.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for headland that I've seen before include "Cape" , "Promontory, territory jutting out into the sea" , "Ness" , "Bill" , "Narrow promontory" .)
