Writing pretty childish? So sue me! (9)
I believe the answer is:
prosecute
'sue me' is the definition.
'prosecute' can be an answer for 'sue' (I've seen this before). I'm unsure of the 'me' bit.
'writing pretty childish?' is the wordplay.
'writing' becomes 'prose' (I have seen 'Ordinary writing ' mean 'prose' so perhaps 'writing' could also mean 'prose').
'pretty childish?' becomes 'cute' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'prose'+'cute'='PROSECUTE'
'so' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for prosecute that I've seen before include "Practise" , "Pursue" , "Bring before a criminal court" , "Represent the Crown in court" , "Take legal action" .)
