I believe the answer is:
let go
'loosen up' is the definition.
'let go' can be an answer for 'loosen' (thesaurus). I am not certain of the 'up' bit.
'blog tells centre-back' is the wordplay.
'LET GO' is hidden back-to-front in amongst the letters.
But, I am not sure how this is indicated.
