I cannot quite see how this works, but
'toil' could be 'work' (I've seen this before) and 'work' is found within the answer.
'destroy' could be 'fire' (firing is a kind of destroying) and 'fire' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'display' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
