Fear not - no problem for two, say (9)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

afternoon

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'two say' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how they can define each other.

'fear not no problem' is the wordplay.
'problem' is an anagram indicator.
'fear'+'not'+'no'='fearnotno'
'fearnotno' with letters rearranged gives 'AFTERNOON'.

'for' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for afternoon that I've seen before include "PM includes this" , "time for tea" , "half a day?" , "No ante for this part of the day" , "Between noon and evening" .)

I've seen this clue in The Daily Express.
