Slob running around cut up OK garment (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

blouson

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'garment' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'slob running around cut up ok' is the wordplay.
'running' indicates an anagram.
'around' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'cut' means to remove the last letter.
'ok' becomes 'on' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'slob' anagrammed gives 'blos'.
'up' with its final letter taken off is 'u'.
'blos' enclosing 'u' is 'blous'.
'blous'+'on'='BLOUSON'

Can you help me to learn more?
