I believe the answer is:
norm
I believe this is a double definition.
'standard' is the first definition.
(I know that norm is a type of standard)
'pattern' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Typical pattern' mean 'norm' so perhaps 'pattern' could also mean 'norm')
