A place of rest from the dancing? (5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

limbo

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

This clue might be a double definition.

'a place' is the first definition.
(I have seen 'Place of suspense ' mean 'limbo' so perhaps 'place' could also mean 'limbo')

'rest from the dancing?' is the second definition.
'limbo' can be an answer for 'dancing?' (limbo is a type of dance). I am unsure of the 'rest from the' bit.

'of' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for limbo that I've seen before include "Dance; uncertain period of waiting" , "(Under bar) dance" , "neither here nor there" , "nowhere in particular" , "Former state as for unbaptised souls" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
