Abrasive, turn up with computer equipment (6)

I believe the answer is:
pumice
'abrasive' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'turn up with computer equipment' is the wordplay.
'turn' says the letters should be written in reverse.
'with' is a charade indicator (letters next to each other).
'computer equipment' becomes 'mice' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'up' written backwards gives 'pu'.
'pu'+'mice'='PUMICE'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for pumice that I've seen before include "Porous lava" , "Lava stone" , "Mineral" , "Solidified lava used as an abrasive" , "Piece of volcanic rock used as an abrasive" .)
