Atomic fire-starter in Zoroastrian writings? (6)
I believe the answer is:
avesta
'zoroastrian writings?' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'atomic fire-starter' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'atomic' could be 'a' (eg in A-test, atomic test) and 'a' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'vesta' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for avesta that I've seen before include "collection of sacred writings" , "Zoroastrian scriptures" , "collection of holy writings" , "Zoroastrian sacred writings" , "holy scriptures" .)
