Authors' point of contact? (3)
I believe the answer is:
nib
This clue might be a double definition.
'authors' point' is the first definition.
'nib' can be an answer for 'point' (I've seen this in another clue). I'm not certain of the 'authors'' bit.
'contact?' is the second definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I don't understand how they can define each other.
'of' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for nib that I've seen before include "Point of an old-fashioned pen" , "Writing point of old pen" , "Part of a fountain pen" , "Pen-tip" , "Pen end" .)
