Biased team and what may be done about it (3-5)
I believe the answer is:
one-sided
'biased team' is the definition.
'one sided' can be an answer for 'biased' (thesaurus). I am unsure of the 'team' bit.
'what may be done about it' is the wordplay.
'what' becomes 'side' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'may' indicates anagramming the letters (I've seen 'might' mean this (I've seen this in other clues)).
'about it' is an insertion indicator (some letters go around or about others).
'done' anagrammed gives 'oned'.
'side' going into 'oned' is 'ONE-SIDED'.
'and' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for one-sided that I've seen before include "Unfairly biased" , "Unequal like contest between badly matched opponents" , "Unfair or partisan - single dimension?" , "Unfair, unequal" , "Biased, favouring one part over another" .)
