Brave page's favoured (6)
I believe the answer is:
plucky
'brave' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'page's favoured' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'page' could be 'p' and 'p' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'lucky' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for plucky that I've seen before include "Feisty, gutsy" , "Determined, courageous" , "Brave, showing courage" , "Brave in English way" , "Bold" .)
