Convey the result of flawed answer? (3,6)
I believe the answer is:
get across
'convey' is the definition.
(to get something across is to communicate it)
'flawed answer?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'answer?' could be 'get' (answering is a kind of getting) and 'get' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'across' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'the result of' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for get across that I've seen before include "Communicate successfully" , "go over viaduct, say" , "Go over - explain" , "Clearly explain" , "what crucifer must do first of all" .)
