Curt and concise but lacking nothing, somehow more to the point (10)
I believe the answer is:
succincter
'more to the point' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'curt and concise' is the wordplay.
'curt' becomes 'er' (I can't explain this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'and' means one lot of letters go next to another (I've seen this in other clues).
'concise' becomes 'succinct' (similar in meaning).
'er' put after 'succinct' is 'SUCCINCTER'.
'but lacking nothing somehow' is the link.
I am not very happy about this link. Some or all of it may be part of another bit of the clue.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Another definition for succincter that I've seen is " more to the point".)
