Crossword Genius

Drinks for mates and bore with problematic posture (5-10)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

round-shouldered

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'posture' is the definition.
(I have seen 'poor posture' mean 'round-shouldered' so perhaps 'posture' could also mean 'round-shouldered')

'drinks for mates and bore with problematic' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'drinks' could be 'rounds' (a round is a set of drinks ordered at a bar) and 'rounds' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for round-shouldered that I've seen before include "poor posture" , "appearing to slump?" , "With a curved upper back" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
