'air' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both human attributes as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps you can see an association between them that I can't see?

'dudley moore releases medley with an unpleasant' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'unpleasant' could be 'dour' (similar in meaning) and 'dour' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'o' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for odour that I've seen before include "Aroma, smell" , "Small, aroma" , "Nasty smell" , "Aroma or fragrance" , "Whiff" .)

I've seen this clue in The Irish Times.
