Early invader's point of view (5)
I believe the answer is:
angle
This might be a double definition.
'early invader's' is the first definition.
'angle' can be an answer for 'invader's' (I have seen 'old invader' mean 'angle' so perhaps 'invader' could also mean 'angle'). I am unsure of the 'early' bit.
'point of view' is the second definition.
(as in a journalist's angle on a story)
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for angle that I've seen before include "that is often right" , "Standpoint" , "Corner - fish" , "Early settler" , "Fish with hook and line" .)
