Crossword Genius

Effortlessly quirky Dali bored by a certain piece in Spain? On the contrary (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

readily

'effortlessly' is the definition.
(thesaurus)

'quirky dali bored by a certain piece in spain? on the contrary' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'dali' is 'adil' which is within the answer.
'piece' could be 'r' (abbreviation for Rook) and 'r' is present in the answer.
'spain?' could be 'e' (abbreviation for Espana) and 'e' is present in the answer.
A single letter 'y' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

(Other definitions for readily that I've seen before include "With pleasure" , "Promptly; willingly" , "Willingly, quickly" , "Willingly, without reluctance" , "Without difficulty or delay" .)

I've seen this clue in The Independent.
