Exclusive store found below end of bypass (5)
I believe the answer is:
scoop
'exclusive' is the definition.
(as in a newspaper scoop)
'store found below end of bypass' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'store' could be 'coop' (I've seen this before) and 'coop' is found in the answer.
A single letter 's' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for scoop that I've seen before include "Exclusive news story" , "exclusively yours?" , "war novel" , "Piece of news that no-one else has" , "bail" .)
