'money or article' is the wordplay.
'money' becomes 'sen' (I've seen this before).
'article' becomes 'a' (the indefinite article in English).
'sen'+'or'+'a'='SENORA'

(Other definitions for senora that I've seen before include "Reason with Spanish Mrs" , "Spanish lady within reason" , "Reason with a Spanish woman, probably married" , "Lady overseas" , "woman from Barcelona" .)
