Goods in shop, yet not moving (5,5)
I believe the answer is:
stock still
'not moving' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'goods in shop yet' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'goods' could be 'stock' (stock is a kind of goods) and 'stock' is present in the answer.
'yet' could be 'still' (synonyms) and 'still' is present in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for stock still that I've seen before include "without moving" , "quite unmoved" , "freezing" , "Immobile" , "frozen" .)
