Layabout I fish with (6)
I believe the answer is:
plaice
'fish with' is the definition.
'plaice' can be an answer for 'fish' (I've seen this before). I am unsure of the 'with' bit.
I cannot understand how the remainder of the clue works.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for plaice that I've seen before include "Location of the fish" , "Swimmer" , "Large flat fish" , "Large flatfish" , "Tasty flatfish I place here" .)
