More relaxed-sounding destiny (5)
I believe the answer is:
karma
'destiny' is the definition.
(I know that karma is a type of destiny)
'more relaxed-sounding' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'more' could be 'm' and 'm' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'kara' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

(Other definitions for karma that I've seen before include "Buddhist principle of inevitable consequence" , "Lifetime's actions that set fate for next life" , "Buddhist fate; destiny" , "Destiny, of Buddhism and Hinduism" , "(In Hinduism or Buddhism) this decides one's fate in a future existence" .)
