No more golf, anybody? (4)
I believe the answer is:
gone
'no more' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'golf anybody?' is the wordplay.
'golf' becomes 'g' (phonetic alphabet: alpha, bravo, charlie etc.).
'anybody?' becomes 'one' (I've seen this in another clue).
'g'+'one'='GONE'
(Other definitions for gone that I've seen before include "Moved - died" , "Departed or no longer available" , "Well in the past" , "Departed or dead" , "... saga of 2's civil war" .)
