Old PM with charisma making attractive point (8,5)
I believe the answer is:
magnetic north
'attractive point' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'old pm' is the wordplay.
'old' becomes 'magnetic' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'pm' becomes 'north' (I've seen this before).
'magnetic'+'north'='MAGNETIC NORTH'
'with charisma making' is the link.
This may not be right. Some or all of it may be part of another bit of the clue.
(Other definitions for magnetic north that I've seen before include "that is regularly pointed at" , "attractive point - with 13a" , "Direction a compass needle points" , "Where compasses point" , "with an attractive property?" .)
