Order is completely uncommunicative? (3-2)
I believe the answer is:
say-so
'order' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'completely uncommunicative?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'completely' could be 'so' (both can mean 'very much') and 'so' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'say' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
'is' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for say-so that I've seen before include "Arbitrary assertion" , "Authority - rumour" , "Authority to make a decision" , "Final authority" , "Go-ahead" .)
